Hey, I'm Martin Ortbauer

I'm a mechanical engineer and self-thaught software developer with 7 years of professional experience living in the beautiful Vienna (Austria 🇦🇹).

I actually think this just happend because of a lack of possibilities to create things, which I was very used to growing up in a farm. But for creating software you just need a laptop which is quite space efficient.😉

My absolute favorite language is python

↪ it is almost always the workhorse of my applications. I sprinkle it with cython if performance is needed

Currently I use vue3 when it comes to web frontends. For automation I use ansible/salt stack and bash drone is my favorite ci since it is all about docker.

So I really stand of the shoulder of all those great Open Source projects, the above write up is by far not complete. In time I try to give more back to the community than just small bug fixes and improvements.

My main interest is to create something genuinely useful specially to make our world more sustainable.
